We feel "safe", and
The "dollars" — the income derived from the activity or the cost to participate in the activity — are acceptable.
The elements like, safe and dollars can be represented as three sides of a triangle — what I call the Fulfillment Triangle. If any one of the three elements of your Fulfillment Triangle is broken, you are at risk of abandoning the goal and your promise.
What promise have you made to yourself or others regarding an important goal or relationship and does your Fulfillment Triangle for that situation encourage or discourage your full commitment?
